Traditionally dry cured. No pre-soaking needed as the traditional dry curing method means the ham isn’t overly salty.

Available as 1kg, 2kg or 3kg cuts.

Serving suggestion: Either boil or roast, roasting at around 160°C for 1 hour per kg, then remove the rind, smother in English mustard and sprinkle with demerara sugar, cooking for a further 20-30 minutes at 180°C until golden brown.

Our Free Range Pork is bred, reared and butchered by Anna's Happy Trotters. Anna says, "Only 1% of pigs produced in the UK are fully free range for their entire lives, and our pigs fall into this elite. This means our free range pork is juicy, succulent and packed with flavour due to a rich diet and pigs being allowed to root around in the ground for natural substances and minerals. Our sows are Native Breeds, Large White and Landrace which provide marbled pork and fantastic cracking but still with a good lean, lovely big eye muscle on our pork chops, joints and bacon."

Anna Longthorp is the 4th generation of her family to farm pigs on the family farm in Yorkshire. Anna says “Over the years we’ve learned that there is no substitute for love and care”.

Only 1-2% of pigs are bred to fully free range standards in the UK, but all of Anna’s pigs are fully free range.
